Great News! This course has received certification by the GAIA Education – Certification
Working Group and as such will officially be part of the UN decade of education for
sustainable development 2005-2015.

Please find for your interest some information about the course. It will cost $7000 which includes all food, accommodation, extensive course notes, tuition and tours for the 4 months you will be here.

This program is part of the United Nations Decade of Education for sustainable Development 2005-2015 and will be an exciting opportunity for participants to gain practical life skills and receive formal tuition about Ecovillage Design and sustainability. This is a course with solid theory and practical aspects. One of the big pluses is that participants will be resident in an established ecovillage (Crystal Waters) and exposed to the technology - from solar to wastewater, the social ups and downs, the governance and the economic realities. The course will also require a fair amount of private study and project work. Places will be limited to only 8 to ensure regular teacher/student exchange. Max Lindegger is turning 60 next year, and keen to pass on his experience and knowledge as much as possible.
